Superbolt x The Diversity Marketing Consortium

Superbolt x The Diversity Marketing Consortium
  • Superbolt is thrilled to announce that we’ve joined forces with three leading marketing agencies to form the Diversity Marketing Consortium—a non-profit dedicated to supporting women & minority-led startups. In partnership with Harlem Capital, we will provide pro-bono services to help brands drive long-term growth. We are proud to partner with SourceCode Communications, Cheer Partners, and Social Studies to donate $1.5 million in marketing services over the next 2 years.

The Diversity Marketing Consortium was formed with a mutual recognition that women and minorities do not have equal access to opportunities—a structural reality in our country that has been highlighted by continued racial injustices. Further, the COVID-19 pandemic has disproportionately impacted women and minority-owned businesses. Between February and April 2020, women-owned businesses declined by 25% while Black and Latinx owned businesses decreased by 41% and 32%, respectively. Given our valuable marketing skills and experience, Superbolt will provide key resources to these underrepresented businesses and provide for their success.

Our pro-bono services will include the following:

    1. Advisory: Weekly 45-minute sessions with Superbolt founding partner, Diya Varadaraj, providing growth marketing strategic guidance.
    2. Facebook Advertising: Strategy and execution of paid campaigns on Facebook and Instagram. Includes ad design, campaign management and weekly reports.
    3. Google Advertising: Strategy and execution of paid campaigns on Google Search and Google Shopping. Includes campaign setup, management and weekly reports.
    4. Email Marketing: Audit, strategy, and execution of email automations, such as Welcome, Abandoned Cart, and Post-Purchase flows. Includes ESP setup and up to 10 email designs.

We hope that our involvement in the Diversity Marketing Consortium is just the first of many impactful partnerships for Superbolt. Looking to the future, we will continue to take action to be an anti-racist organization, as well as a champion of minority & women-owned businesses everywhere.
