We are seeking a UX/UI website designer (contract) who is passionate about working in the D2C space. This Contract role will report to the Head of Web and collaborate with Superbolt team members on various internal and client-facing projects for about 15-20 hours per week.
The ideal candidate will be able to conceptualize the user experience flow from wireframe concepts or prototypes, to execution of concepts and asset creation for engineering—using tools such as Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premier. Experience in creating functional UI/UX prototypes is expected.
The ideal candidate is expected to have proven experience within a similar role, a great presenter of UX design (and systems), and a supporting portfolio that showcases your work. We’re looking for a positive team member that shows both enthusiasm and talent for creating e-commerce websites with user-centric UI that’s flexible for different types of users.

What You'll Do
Ideate and execute on creative concepts
Create conceptual and practical designs that map back to the client’s business goals, audience, and vertical
Maintain high standards among the team and ensure only the best work is shared with the client
Take and develop briefs from client and team into execution
Contribute to and drive the process with both internal and client teams
Provide scoping estimates for new and ongoing client work as requested
Provide, and often lead, useful contributions to team meetings and conversations
Provide thoughtful and constructive feedback during presentations and critiques of junior team members’ work

Who You Are
Associates or Bachelors degree in Advertising, Graphic Design or similar discipline
3+ years digital design experience; agency experience is a plus.
Solid knowledge of industry tools and understanding of designing intuitive and responsive user experiences.
Proficiency in the Adobe Suite. Working knowledge of HTML/CSS is preferred but not required (our designers are not expected to build websites).
Experience with Figma is a requirement.
Experience with Shopify is preferred.
Experience with UX copywriting skills, motion design, illustration skills, experience with visual development platforms like Webflow is a plus.
Able to work efficiently, always aware of budgets and time spent
Possess strong project management and organizational skills, able to confidently communicate with external teams and clients alike
Able to articulate thoughts clearly and concisely in all verbal and written communications
Maintains a meticulous attention to detail in all deliverables
Has the foresight to see upcoming challenges and proactively plans ahead to ensure all deadlines are met
