Human Resources Manager

We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our NYC team. This position will report to the Head of Operations.

  • Hours: Full-time

  • Compensation: $75,000

  • Working Model: Hybrid (in-office work a minimum of twice per week in our office in the Financial District. In-office work is required on Mondays depending on team needs and the new hire onboarding schedule which will be planned for in advance.)

  • What You'll Do

    • Advise the company on HR topics, including serving as a liaison for employees and the leadership team

    • Create and implement HR resources and processes that align with the values of the company

    • Serve as the primary resource for the team on benefits, policies, and programs

    • Manage the company’s HR systems including payroll and perks

    • Ensuring new employee onboarding success, including set up of equipment and accesses and welcoming new employees

    • Oversee employee engagement and build relationships with team members

    • Facilitate employee offboarding

    • Ensure the company is compliant with laws and best practices

  • Who You Are

    • You have 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, either in an agency or startup environment

    • You have knowledge of relevant employment laws

    • You are able to utilize good judgment and discretion in the handling of confidential information

    • Experience working with a HRIS platform

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Legally authorized to work in the United States
