HR Intern (NYC)

Superbolt is looking for a resourceful, self-starter to join the team as a HR/Operations Intern!

This person will assist with many areas of the company including in compliance, relationship management, full life-cycle recruiting, and employment law. This is an exciting opportunity to receive mentorship and training, as well as opportunities to contribute in ways that impact Superbolt’s growth.

  • Location: NYC (the role will be onboarded remotely, with a transition to a hybrid office in September 2021)
  • Hours: Full-time
  • Start Date: July or August 2021 for 6 months

  • Responsibilities

    • Assist the Operations Director in streamlining the full recruitment life-cycle process from preparing job descriptions to onboarding new hires
    • Learn about using key HR management tools like ATS platforms, payroll services, and benefits administration

    • Understand and keep abreast of federal, state, and local labor laws especially related to taxes, benefits, and immigration

    • Support the upkeep of company platforms for efficiency and accuracy

    • Help to maintain the office environment that fosters productivity and an exciting and productive work atmosphere

  • Requirements

    • Bachelors degree or in-progress

    • Previous experience using HRIS platforms like ADP, Justworks, Trinet is a plus

    • Familiarity with project management platforms like Monday, Trello, Wrike, etc.

    • Proficient with Google Drive, Microsoft Office

    • Previous experience with an accounting software such as Quickbooks, Peachtree is a plus

    • Must have excellent written and spoken communication skills

    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

    • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
